Once the candy melts are fully melted pour them on top of your cookie/pretzel mix. Try to evenly pour it around the cookie sheet. Then, using a spatula or any smooth surfaced utensil, smooth out the candy melts mixture until it is covering the whole mixture. You might need to push the edged in with your fingers to make sure every piece is covered in candy melts.
After the smoothing...take your sprinkles and m&ms (or candy corn) and sprinkle all over the bark! You can use any kinds of sprinkles! And sprinkle away to your hearts pleasure!! After you are fully satisfied with your sprinkling you have two options. Option 1: leave the cookie sheet on the counter until it hardens Option 2: take your cookie sheet and put it into the freezer for about 10 minutes . I put mine in the freezer because it hardens A LOT quicker! The first time I made the cookie bark I tried to leave it on the counter but it was taking way to long to harden. When you are making a few batches you want to get it done, right? So...option 2 is the best...but option 1 works, too.
Then...it's time to break that stuff up! Just use your little hands and break up the bark into pieces. The size of the pieces depends upon you...just break it up! Once that's done you can put it into a ziploc or tupperware to store it. I keep mine on the counter unless it's too hot. In that case it lives in the fridge. You'll notice that there are bits and pieces left on your cookie sheet. Don't throw them away!! Just dump them into your next batch and use them!!
